Eid al-Adha is an event at the end of the Hajj, the annual visit of Muslims to Mecca, which is one of the most important religious rites in Islam. Eid al-Adha is a commemoration to the memory of prophet Ibrahim, who was ordered by God to sacrifice his son Ismail. Ibrahim shouted a constant obedience to God, but the angel prevented him from doing so, and gave him a lamb to sacrifice, in order to compensate his son.
