Mercury is the closest to the sun, it rotates around the sun very slowly. So slowly in fact, one side of it is too hot (because it's always facing the sun) and one side is too cold (Because it's always facing away from the sun).

The sun is the closest star to earth. It is Super hot on the inside but is 3000º to 4000º on the surface. It looks mega for us but it isn't the biggest star that exists in space.
