Net Present Value - more concise way of calculating cost benefits. Adjusts the benefits and costs as time passes because cash flow in the future is not as valuable as current cash flow due to inflation etc.
Planning Implementation
Documentation - Six Sigma team should have documented all work so far in DMAIC process and can be reviewed in order to create a standard operating procedure manual.
Training - strong documentation is key to the next part of implementing improvements. Six Sigma trains individuals who then train employees impacted by the process change.
Once solutions have been verified through tests and analysis, implementation can begin.
Transition - during improvement, team begins to consider process of transitioning process to process owner. Part of the control phase
