Some of the sneetches have stars on their bellies, and some do not. This relates to The Outsiders, because the Socs have mustangs and madras, and the Greasers have hair gel and black leather jackets. And just like the star bellied sneetches, the Socs are viewed as “better”, because they were given something (stars/money) that the others weren’t.
