Bolshevik influence of the United Front
Bolshevik gov wanted to spread revolution and protects its border with China.
CCP paid 5000 so they could not ignore the Bolshevik request to work with the GMD
Changed the government of china into the formation of the United front. Changed to a china without warlords and into the civil war. The aim to remove foreigners (of the united front) was achieved.
China went from going against foreign views to listening to the Bolsheviks. Changing and Strengthening china's relationship with the Bolsheviks as they were now aided them and partly shared the mutual view of communism. become a treaty of alliance/ mutual assistance/ friendship. moderate change.

The 21 demands changed china's view to a stronger hatred against Japan as they were controlling Chinas territory, politics and military advisors.
May the Fourth movement - Driven by the news that Japan was to be given German possessions in the Shandong province under the terms of the treaty of Versailles( ended WW1 with germany). protests, strikes took place resulting in the refusal of signing the treaty as Japan would be given some of Chinas prev owned land.
Significant change as China begin to act upon their hate against japans involvement in China instead of letting it happen.
INTRO- judgement on extent of change CONCLUSION- Overall the change in ...between 1911-62 was drastic because China went from being completely against foreign involvement (warlord era) and control 9may the 4th movement) to accepting help from foreigners live the Bolsheviks to help with communism than back to their own strict independence.
