Project aims
Improve the lives of workers and those impacted along different stages of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) supply chain through research, campaigning, capacity building and advocacy that will lead to concrete improvements in the lives and livelihoods for workers and communities associated with ICT supply chains - particularly in the Global South.

Project Applications
It will increase knowledge about the global agenda on development, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as raising awareness around global interdependencies between the EU and developing countries
This action also addresses gender equality rights as well as those of migrant workers, who comprise the majority of the ICT production workforce in the Global South.
Project Vision
• 60 million citizens in 18 EU States reached via awareness raising activities, with 400,000 European citizens undertaking active citizenship activities calling on their public sector bodies, MDBs & governments to take action.
• The total amount of public sector contracts that include Electronics Watch (EW) contract conditions on labour standards, increases from €1bn to €5bn.
• New investments by MDBs apply human rights due diligence criteria consistent with standards in updated EW contract conditions.
• EU regulation over the minerals/electronics sector becomes more coherent & incorporates stronger human rights, labour & conflict dimensions.
• 10 large ITC companies improve policy and practice on labour standards, conflict & human rights.
