Cell (Functional unit of life)
Structural and functional unit of life
Structure of a plant cell includes:--
Nucleus
Cell wall
Cell membrane
Cytoplasm
Vacuole - Big
Chloroplast
Structure of animal cell:--
Nucleus
Cell membrane
Mitochondria- the power house / site of respiration
Golgi body
Lysosome
plastids
The difference between plant and animal cells is that Plant cells have a cell wall while animal cells don't have a cell wall.

Cell Theory
- The cell is the smallest unit of structure of all living things
- The cell it the unit of function of all living things
- All cells arise from pre-existing cells
There are 2 types of cells which are prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell prokaryotic cells dont have a well defined nucleus so its nucleus is called nuclei and eukaryotic cell has a well defined nucleus
vacuole - Small
- They are the building blocks of the body
red blood cells
white blood cells
