        Abuse undermines your self esteem in general making it difficult to startover
        
        Many people often ignore or minimize emotional violence because they believe it is not as severe as physical abuse
        
        the abuse cycle: any abusive incident is usually followed by a make-up honeymoon period. when an abusive situation occurs, the offender always responds by doing something "nice" for the victim or apologizing and agreeing not to do it again
        
        when in an abusive relationship, remind yourself that you cant "change" the person.
        
        Its dangerous to leave. like, VERY!
        
        the most dangerous time in a abusive relationship is post breakup.
- - - - Back then, society saw this as an ideal relationship but as time passed, women have used there voices and finally changed the idea of the perfect relationship.
        
        But Lately, Toxic relationships have become more normalized then they should be and this is a big problem
- - - - can feel unimportant or suicidal
        
        The abuser can also push on many mental illnesses such as depression, an eating disorder, anxiety, and more.

        Shuts down and gives the silent treatment.
        
        Lies to there partner to avoid intimacy and to take control.
        
        Minimizes and makes light of situations, doesn’t take their concerns seriously.
        
        Makes them feel bad about herself if there’s a conflict
        
        Emotional dependace.
        
        even though they seem quit independent, the abuser is actually quite the opposite.
        
        Excessive jealousy/jealous rage.
        
        Hypervigilance in monitoring his partner’s whereabouts.
        
        Becoming sexually possessive.
        
        Physical control including physical abuse.
        
        some ways that influence the abuser to act like this are -
        
        Takes ownership of his partner, “If I can’t have you, nobody can have you.”
        
        Low Self-Esteem.
        He has a fragile ego and has a hard time taking criticism, even if it’s constructive.
        
        Fear Issues.
        The abuser has a fear of being mocked, embarrassed, or betrayed by his partner.
        
        Threats or plans of homicide if his partner leaves and refuses to return to him.

        In the us, 25% of high school girls have been abused sexually or physically.
        
        85% of domestic abuse offenders are men

      - Fear of not knowing who you are
      - Fear your not attracted to anyone else

        In his written witness statement, he said he saw Ms Heard "on many occasions" during the period Mr Depp is alleged to have been abusive.
