- - - - Success! Student is progressing. Keep going with the current procedure and slowly cut back on the amount of intensive instruction.
        
        Monitor student to make sure they they are remaining successful.
      - Student is showing little to no progress. This is the third intervention. Time to call in a special education teacher or an interventionist. Inform parents that you would like to have their child evaluated for special needs. Keep the communication as open as possible. Parents may be feeling like they have failed their child, worried about their childs future or frustrated and embaressed that their child may have special needs. These are natural feelings that with open communication can be worked through. The main focus and goal should be that the child gets the right help they need to be successful.
        
        Student is evaluated and is eligible for special needs assistance. Make sure parents have the right line of support as their child begins their journey to successful learning. This is the time that the team of SPED teachers and professionals will step in and create an IEP for the student. IEP's are reviewed at least once or more a year with a panel of SPED teachers and professionals. All the findings should be communicated with parents to keep the abreast of students progress. Constant monitoring and communication with parents is key.
        
        Student is evaluated and is not eligible for special needs.
        
        With team of teachers continue working with the student by creating differiniated instruction and lessons.
        
        Success! Student stays on track with differiniated instruction and lessons
        
        Monitor Student and continue communicating with parents and team to make sure the student is as successful as possible in their learning.
        
        Student still struggling and continues to have unsuccessful learning in school.
        
        Communicate with students parents and administrators that you would like to push for re-evaluation.
