AFRICA:Boundaries: north, south, east, and west
Africa is bounded by two oceans: the Atlantic Ocean to the north, south and west, and the Indian Ocean to the south and east. It is also bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north and the Red Sea to the east. Furthermore, the African continent is bordered by the Gulf of Aden.

The limits of Europe are: the North Cape and the North Polar Cap; the Atlantic Ocean to the west; the Mediterranean Sea, the Black Sea and the Caucasus to the south; and the Ural Mountains and the Ural River to the east. Historically, this eastern boundary has been shifting.
