To legitimise his claim sends out Duke William Capinere, Ser Francois Matoir and some soldiers to find Excalabur
The Andred pact discover this plan when raiding one of the groups of soldiers led by Ser Francois Matoir, on him he carries a poem said to hold the swords resting place. The attack is led by Eathalbeard.
Eathalbeard travels around the South West searching for the sword, more clues and Norman forces
Eathalbeard finds the sword in a small cave by the coast at the mouth of the river Cherwood. The Norman's find them and attack, Eathalbeard's scout force try and hold them back.
Duke William Capinere wades through the river and duels Eathalbeard. Eathalbeard wins the battle killing Duke William Capinere, but being mortally wounded. His last act is to load Excalabur onto a small boat used to cross the river and push it out to sea

Eathalbeard is badly wounded and left to die in the feild, is found by searching parties of the Andred Pact and taken by to Andred Castle
