To the north of Oceania we have Kure, to the west we have DIrk Hartog, to the south there is Macquarie, and to the east there are the Easter Islands.
Oceania has three types of islands: Continental Island, High Islands and Low Islands.
Australia, Zealandia, and New Guinea are
continental islands.
The High Islands are volcanic Islands. Important volcanic mountains in Melanesia include Mount Tomanivi, in Fiji; Mount Lamington, in Papua New Guinea;and Mount Yasur, in Vanuatu.
Low Islands are Coral islands. They are made of the skeletons and living bodies of marine animals, which are Corals.
Coral Islands almost don't reach the sea level, that is why they are Low Islands.
