Precipitation is the fall of water from the atmosphere to the Earth, in the form of rain, rainfall, rain, and snow. Earth, in the form of rain, drizzle, snow, sleet and hail. It does not include does not include fog or dew, which are not precipitation but rather the condensation of moisture.
