scouts aunt makes fun of scout for wearing overalls because they are what boys wear

scout gets told she is becoming more like a girl because she does not want to play all the games that the boys do

Mrs. Maudie lives independently and is financially stable

People tell scout that she should not be playing, but inside cooking and sewing

Mrs Dubose because she is racist

The town is prejudice because they think that Tom is going to loose the case just because he is black

The town is prejudice towards the Radleys because of their religon

The town is prejudice towards atticus because he is defending Tom Robbinson and they all are racist

The mockingbird is a symbol of innocence because it does nothing but good for the people

Scout is innocent because she is very young and is not aware of the things that are going on around her

Boo shows his innocence because he gives the little things to the kids to have fun with them

Tom Robbinson is innocent because he did not do what he was accused of and cannot get out of it

Mrs. Dubose is a symbol of bravery because she went off of morphene and died on her own terms

Boo Radley puts the blanket on jem during the fire knowing that he could get caught and in trouble

Jem goes over to the radley house to retrieve his pants after he got scared the first time

Atticus showed bravery when he shot the dog because he was scared he would not be able to hit the dog the first time
