Factors of choosing best fuels
- There are three types of fossil fuels which can all be used for energy provision; coal, oil and natural gas. Coal is a solid fossil fuel formed over millions of years by decay of land vegetation. When layers are compacted and heated over time, deposits are turned into coal.(Ayesha Asif)
- Fuel is easily available and cheaper.
Burns easily in the air at a moderate rate.
Releases a large amount of energy.
No harmful substances must be emitted from fuel.
Eco friendly.
(Areej Somji)
- Many different factors affect a vehicle's fuel economy: excess cargo weight, vehicle condition and maintenance, proper tire inflation, use of air conditioning, consumer driving habits, climate related effects, and gasoline composition.(Arshia Raj)
The factors that should be considered when choosing a fuel for a specific purpose are its:

The energy content of the fuel type being considered.
The availability of the type of fuel source wanted.
How safe it will be to use the fuel under consideration.
What type of byproducts will result from the fuels use, especially ones that negatively impact the environment
The combustion of the substance should not produce harmful substances like soot and poisonous gases.

a substance that is used to provide heat or power, usually by being burned: Wood, coal, oil, petrol, and gas are all different kinds of fuel. Plutonium is a fuel used to produce nuclear energy.
-
- An ideal fuel is cheap, readily available, readily combustible and easy to transport. It has high calorific value. It does not produce gases or residues that pollute the environment.(Areej Somji)
- Hearth products come in many styles and sizes within the categories of fireplaces, stoves, and fireplace inserts. Before choosing one that's right for your home, take a few minutes to consider the various fuels for hearth products.
(Abiha Fatima)
- A good fuel should satisfy the following requirements:It should have a high calorific value i.e., it should evolve a large amount of heat when it is burnt. Its moisture content should be low so that its heating value should be high. An ideal fuel should have moderate ignition temperature.(Ayesha Qadri)
