Inquiry research
Focus Question and statement
From my research I have found that the gaming industry has helped with the grieving process and has guided gamers to a better understanding of grief and how to deal with it, identify it, and work around/assist someone who has lost someone dear in their life.
In terms of your own experience or if this were to happen to you do you think that having someone to contact during a time of distress is better than having an AI/game to communicate with during your experience?

Focus Question and statement
From my research I have found that the digital world has played a big part in terms of grief. With the emergence of COVID-19 the use of livestreams have made a big difference in the lack of physical encounters.
Do you believe that this is applicable to your life and (if it has) has this experience benefited you?
All stakeholders believe that gaming has been able to express their creative side and communicate with people - again - distracting them from any form of grief they are experiencing
Most stakeholders believe that gaming has helped them cope with grief and has been really important with the uprising of COVID-19

From my research Gaming during a time of grief or a time of stress (such as COVID-19) has proved to help people around the world.
In your experiences do you believe that this is true and why?
Half of my stakeholders belive that the gaming industry has helped them cope with the stress of being alone in lockdown as features such as live chats and voice communication played a major part in the wellbeing of teens
Half of my stakeholders believed that gaming was a waste of time during COVID or just though it was a pass time activity with no deeper meaning

Focus Question and statement
During my research I found that the most important gaming platform is PC with a soaring 60% of people interested in PC gaming and a 66% interest in developers developing games in the future.
Do you agree with this idea and do you think gaming accessibility is important to you as a gamer? Specifically the gaming platforms available. (Pc, Console, mobile etc)
3 of my 4 stakeholders believed that developers should have a variety of platforms to play the game as accessibilty to the game is neccessary to the devleoper and gamer as it helps gather a more broad target audience for the developers and decreases limitations on platforms for gamers.
1 of my 4 stakeholders beleived that accessibility isn't a neccessary componant in the gaming industry and prefers mobile gaming instead.

Focus Question and statement
From my research I found that the ergonomics of a controller makes it difficult to press many different buttons together or in quick succession. This means that you may be able to get the basics down in most games, but performing more complex moves isn’t going to be as easy.
Do you believe that this is true and which do you prefer?

Very few of my stakeholders believe that game controls must be something that the gamer must remeber regardless of the controller, keyboards or mechanics behind it
Most of my stakeholders believed that the controlls to the game are a neccessity. They believe that mastering gaming mechanis can be difficult so by having a game that all controllers and keyboards can play is an upside for all gamers.
