Side effects
GU: urinay hesitancy and retention, heart prostration
CNS: blurred vision, pupil dilation, photophobia, cycloplegia, increase intraocular pressure, weakness, dizziness, insomnia
GI: dry mouth, altered taste perception, nausea, heartburn
CV: taquicardia, palpitation
Contraindications

Pregnancy, potential adverse effects on the foetus
Intestinal atony, paralytic ileus, GI obstruction, can be activated with a further slowing GI activity

It works by blocking only the most caring effectors in the parasympathetic nervous system and few cholinergic receptors in the sympathetic nervous system
