What is that?
entered into force in 2016 - meeting of 200 countries in a global pact to fight against climate change
key points
keep the rise in global temperatures below 2 degrees.

why the USA withdrew?
Trump said unfair to let other countries like India and China (which are not in the deal) use fossil fuels when the US has to cut emissions.
ironic things: the USA OFFICIALLY withdrew on November 4, the day after its defeat against Trump
the USA have historically released the most greenhouse gases into the atmosphere
how to re-register?
Biden administration signed a declaration accepting the terms of the agreement.
this declaration is sent to the United Nations and then the US has 30 days to officially join the agreement.
