Never Let Me Go: Hailsham and the Cottages a utopia, even though they don't realise, because they were established to create a normal life vs the gruesome reality of being an organ donor
The Circle: illusion of a utopia through the convenience of technology, but the invasiveness of surveillance fuels a dystopia where opinions are homogenised to the benefit of The Circle, and leads people to become devoted to social media
The Road: more post-apocalyptic, however the degradation of the natural environment is not uncharacteristic of a dystopia
The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas: Utopian in appearance, dystopian in terms of the grim element of sacrificing the humanity of a young child
Brave New World: Utopian in terms of the supposedly regeneration of London's technology. The use of soma also contributes to the devoted nature of Lenina and Marx to live under a system of bliss and predetermined destiny through biological intervention
