Girls cannot go to school under the Taliban rule. Schools get bombed and only boys were allowed to go back to school.
A girl named Shabana gets killed by the Taliban just because she danced and sang at the town bazzar.
Benazir who was woman leader gets killed by a suicide bomber. People say that because a lot of young girl admired her, she had to be silent and not speak out for women's rights
Men force purdah which is a type of violence because even though is is not a direct violence like beating, they brainwash and keep women from going out of the house without permission and without a male gaurdian.
Malala and her friends get threatened and shot by the Taliban because she spoke up for women's education and rights.

Even though they are just fronts and help people for a specific reason, people who are in danger like natural disasters do not realize and only see the good side about them. And they become a part of the Islamic religion and help them.

Women must follow how they are described to behave in the Quran.

It is hard for women to speak up in society because the culture there is very strict and conservative. If someone complains and speaks up, the Taliban might attack them and will not give a chance to change the world.
She first spoke up by writing and giving speeches. She wrote letters and articles to important people in the country. She also sent them to BBC and had a anonymous name to talk about the Taliban.
If Women knew how to read and write, they would be smarter and able to realize what was going on in their country. So, they stopped giving girls education and kept them away from politics or any studies.
Malala gives speeches, writes letters, books, and articles.
Her family friend Shiza Shadid helps and supports Malala to speak up and also gives speeches.
The rest of her friends go to school to learn and goes on field trips freely.
Shiza Shahid helps Malala by taking her to big cities and meeting lots of women leaders. She gives a speech about her and her journey.
Traditional culture
Family, relatives, neighbors all bond with each other very often. If someone visits their house, they cannot send them back. (Can see this when Malala was shot. Lots of people came to the hospital and some mothers came to her house to visit Malala's mother.)
Doctors do not explain things to patients or their family. So, when Malala was shot, the surgeon who saved did not explain things to her father. He started his question by starting with 'If you don't mind..'
