Most Methane comes from livestock farming, landfills and fossil fuel production.

Future changes - IPCC predicts that greenhouse gas emission will grow over the next few decades. Average temperature will also increase 0.2C in each decade. Even if the emission is reduced to the level that it was in the 2000s, the temperature will still increase 0.1C per decade.
IPCC also predicts that water supply will run short in dry regions and river runoffs will increase in tropical areas.
Millions will experience water shortage, no electricity and bad hygiene without water. Regions like North America will most likely experience this drought.

Kyoto Protocol. By the end of 2009, 187 countries had signed and ratified the agreement. Under the protocol, 37 industrialized countries and the European Union have committed to reducing their greenhouse gas emissions.

Since the Industrial Revolution, greenhouse gas emissions have increased. Increased 70% between 1970 and 2004.
