Is there an appeal to a certain country in the article?
Are they using a country's values or showing a level of nationalist pride to appeal to an argument?
Are they attacking or putting down anyone's sense of patriotism or pride?
APPEAL TO NATIONALISM
Do you notice any bold, emphasized, or dramatic words used in headlines or the article itself?
Does the author use word choice, tone, and other techniques to frame the story in a specific way?
Does it seem like the author is only covering half of the facts?
Is the article choosing to give evidence for one side of the story only?
Is there someone else or something's information that would sway the story?
Does the article seem 100% set on one perspective?
Does the article not explore other sides to the story?
Is there any information that seems missing from the other side of the debate?
Where is the article getting it's soruces from?
Is it only coming from one side of the debate?
Are they using specific people as witnesses or to give opinions becuase these people will help prove their point?
