Not for use in persons with liver disease

It should be stored in a cool dry place
And out of reach of children
Mechanism of action
It decreases the uptake and concentration of inorganic iodine by thyroid
And reduces the formation of di-iodothyrosine and thyroxin
Its antithyroid action is due to its conversion to methimazole after absorption
