CONTRAINDICATIONS
Patients with narrow angle glaucoma
People who are hypersensitive to atomoxetine
Cardiac disorders which cannot tolerate increase in blood pressure
MECHANISM OF ACTION
but little or no affinity
for various neurotransmitters receptor
Has high affinity and selectivity for norepinephrine transporters
Inhibit presynaptic norepinephrine reuptake in the prefrontal cortex
INDICATIONS
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD)
Increase ability to stop fidgeting
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION
Orally
SIDE EFFECTS
Fainting
Abdominal pain
Headache
Decreased appetite
Dry mouth
Cough
Vomiting
Drowsiness
Difficulty urinating
Weight loss
STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store at room temperature away from light and mousture
