WWI used new inventions such as airplanes(for drop bombs), submarines (for carried torpedoes) and tanks (difficult to drive).
The Christmas truce
In 1914, Germany and England stopped fighting for a few hours. On that Christmas day there was a truce where food and gifts was exchanged and they were play football.
Remember
The war ended on 11 November 1918. In the UK there are two minutes of silence for the victims every year. In November, the British wear poppies for remembrance
