Teachers should pay attention to PTSD symptoms and observe female students and young children. Be in close dialogue with parents and professionals.
If symptoms are observed, contact parents and suggest mental health professionals, prepare a special lesson plan for the student and maintain social contact, if possible.
Discuss safety in the classroom and take precautions during school safety drills. Talk about the precautions we can take in terms of earthquakes, the statistical probability of them taking place and top tips if they occur.
