Consent
Consent is when someone agrees to something, or gives permission for a specific thing to happen. Consent is given voluntarily, and can not be forced. Consent should be given clearly and freely. The definition of consent changes, depending on the context, with the varying contexts including medicine, law and sexual relations.

Agreement
It's important to agree with your partner in the important aspects of the relationship, though disagreements are natural, and should be handled, through healthy and fruitful discussion, allowing partners to reach a conclusion that is satisfactory for all parties involved.
Agreeing to disagree is also an option that can be considered, especially for disagreements on topics that seem trivial, such as food choices.
