Initially, fungi can be considered unicellular or pluricellular, because each species of fungi differs in a different way, which is also valid for their reproduction, because some of them have sexual reproduction, and others asexual reproduction, including, nowadays, fungi are classified in the Kingdom Fungi, that is, a kingdom just for them, but there was a time when they were evaluated as plants, but there is a difference, while plants develop their photosynthesis, fungi are heterotrophic (search for food). Interestingly enough, they are very well known in our society for drawing attention to some species, in this case mushrooms. The vast majority of their species are made up of hyphae, as we call their cells, and these cells have filamentous shapes, from which they may or may not have septa seen under the microscope.
