Growth mindsets and child attainment
A national experiment reveals where a growth mindset improves
achievement
American study from high school pupils - maths
As I furthered my study I had relised my original method approach and questioning were in need of alteration as it was aware in many journals that child attainment was not significantly raised to alter intelligence however it did increase stamina in the classroom toward challeneges
contrasting perspectives
one consistent factor is that mindsets regardless of entity or incremental is that is is not interchangeable between genders and remains linear
there is direct coloration between low socio comic areas and poor attainment also represent entity illicit theories
as my research continues i discover that itelligence isn't altered significantly due to implement incremental theories of intelligence. However, children do benefit from intervention when fixed mindsets are apprent
However, this is only successful when practionors are correctly trained it enable children to adapt zed mindsets
Dweck, revisits this decrepency by reiterating the purpose behind her theory and how it should be implemented
Studies were popular amongst secondary school students as they faced more obsiticles and challeneges
studies had better results from those children of lower achieving base lines
fixed mindsets applied to child with high intellect through fear of failure
Mathematics was an area that was used for a lot of studies on children due to the topic needing children to draw on prior knowledge to access work and address new challeneges
All studies concluded that praise for talent was detremental and that praise should be addressed on the grounds of hard work and effort

goes against a growth mindset as masking a problem
growth is against this as they wish children to become more intrinsically motivated

Encourages and boosts self esteem however be wary not to mask issues with praise which goes against a growth mindset

Need help from me the MKO to develop a growth mindset
children benefits most from growth minds through collaborative learning that draws both on Vygotsky ZPD and MKO theory, Dwecks incremental theory of intelligence and Kagans theory of collaboration

The relationship between intelligence and mindset -Macnamara, B. N. and Rupani, N. S. (2017) “The Relationship between Intelligence and Mindset,” Intelligence, 64, pp. 52–59. doi: 10.1016/j.intell.2017.07.003. - study suggests that gender isn't an issue also that intelligence isn't a factor
The relationship between implicit theories and mindset - warren et al
laddress gaps in studies and links between SEN and FSM with fixed mindsets
although dwecks theory draws on human approaches to learning and nurturing intrinsic motivators there is still a need for external influences which draws on vygotskys socio cultural theories of the ZPD and MKO guidence
Journals are suggesting children who originate from low socio economic backgrounds develop more fixed mindsets partcally due to parents obtaining a fixed mindset themselves
this supports the notions that who ever the moo is they need to be correctly trained in developing an incremental theory of itellences in children
One question could be - Are more knowledge others required to partake in interventions to support and develop an incremental theory of intelligence in children
2nd - Does effective praise significantly increase motivation
How does collaborative learning feed an incremental theory of intellgence (IToI)
3rd - are entity mindsets a higher statistic in low socio ecomonic areas
