        Small Intestine: absorbs most nutrients from food into the bloodstream by making digestive juices/enzymes, working together with the enzymes from your liver and pancreas, like the pancreas release pancreatic juices and enzymes like trypsin and chymotrypsin which helps the small intestine to break down the proteins in food into smaller peptides to make it easier for the stomach and large intestines to digest it and the liver releases bile.
        
        Ileum: Absorbs any final nutrients, usually the major thing they absorb is B12 & Bile Acids
        
        Jejunum: Absorbs sugars, amino acids, and fatty acids
        
        Large Intestine/colon : reabsorb fluids and process waste products from the body and prepare for its elimination
        
        Ascending Colon: Goes up the right side of the abdomen and it's job is to absorb the remaining nutrients and converts the waste into stool.
        
        Transverse colon: Moves waste forward; absorbs key nutrients (i.e. water, salts)
        
        cecum: absorb fluids and salts that remain after completion of intestinal digestion and absorption and to mix its contents with a lubricating substance, mucus.
        
        Appendix - The function of the appendix is kind of unknown however there are many theories as to what its function is. One theory is that it stores good bacteria
        
        Descending Colon- Stores remains of digested food that is ready to be expelled from the body.

        Duodenum
        
        Liver: The liver regulates chemical levels in the blood by filtering blood from the digestive tract. It secretes bile which helps to break down fat in the body so it can be absorbed. The gallbladder is where bile is stored.
        
        Pancreas: Your pancreas secretes different enzymes that help break down fats, sugars, and starches. It also secretes hormones like insulin and glucagon in order to maintain blood sugar levels
        
        Stomach - Located on the upper left side of the abdomen. A major organ of the digestive system and is where food is broken down to their simplest forms.The stomach does this by secreting enzymes like pepsin to break down your food.
      - Pharynx(Throat): Part of the respiratory and digestive system. It works by receiving air from the nasal and oral cavities. Along with food/water.
    - - There are two sets of teeth primary and permanent. Also, different type of teeth exist: 8 incisors, 4 canines, 8 premolars, 12 molars.
    - - Separates the nasal and oral cavity, keeps food out of the respiratory tract
