Design the powerpoint slides to match Nearpod format and add in interactive activity like "draw it", "time to climb", "ooen-ended question" etc.
Log in as student by using Nearpod code and trial the teaching process
Lesson Preparation: Classkick to create the Chinese word Mindmap
Put in instruction and assign task for the students
Record the demonstration video using screencast-o-matic
Edit the demonstration video using iMovie
Upload to Youtube and publish the link on the powerpoint for students to watch
Conduct lesson using Zoom and Nearpod
Students log in to Zoom and Nearpod through link or code
Read the textbook paragraph and ask question to highlight the meaning of the Chinese words
Use Nearpod features to conduct lesson in an interactive way
Watch teacher demonstration video
Complete the Chinese word mindmap task
Give immediate feedback and responses online
