        It saves us from ourselves as we might feel to go against something that goes against our interests

  - - - Parliamentary form of govt: Universal adult franchise and suffrage (People have a direct role in electing their representatives)

        Fundamental rights: Every citizen has fundamental rights
        
        Secularism: :red_cross:NO religion is declared as the official religion of the state
        
        Legislature: makes laws,
        
        Executive: executes laws,
        
        Judiciary: makes sure the laws are being followed.

        Right to freedom of religion
        
        Cultural and educational rights
        
        Right to constitutional remedies
        
        People can move to the court if they feel that any of their fundamental rights have been violated by the state
        
        All minorities, religious, etc. can set up their own educational institutions
        
        Everyone can practice the religion of their choice
        
        The constitution prohibits child labour (under 14), forced labour, and human trafficking.
      - Right to freedom of speech, expressions, forming associations, moving freely and residing anywhere in the country
