        All three platforms are updated on a fairly regular basis, from big releases with new features and occasional redesigns every few months , to smaller releases to deal with minor bugs.
      - iOS - subject to strict security protocol
        
        Microsoft and Apple maintain greater control over the software than Android
      - Windows Phone - control over the software
      - Push and Pull Method (Methods for installing application and content sources on mobile devices)
        
        in push protocols, the client opens a connection to the server and keeps it constantly active.
        
        the server will send (push) all new events to the client using that single always-on connection. in other words, the server PUSHes the new events to the client.
        
        in pull protocols, the client periodically connects to the server, checks for and gets (pulls) recent events and then closes the connection and disconnects from the server.
        
        the client repeats this whole procedure to get updated about new events.
        
        in this mode, the clients periodically PULLs the new events from the server.
        
        Difference : push > you get new events (such as a new email, a new chat message, etc) literally instantly.
        pull > it check for new events so regular (e.g. every 30 seconds) that the time delay is mostly not noticeable.
- - - - Users can drag an app or widget icon from the All Apps screen and place it in any empty location on any Home screen.
      - Recents screen > Recents provides an efficient way of switching between recently used applications.
        
        The Recents button at the right side of the navigation bar displays the apps that the user has interacted with most recently. They are organized in reverse chronological order with the most recently used app at the bottom.
        
        Switching to an app by touching it. Remove an item by swiping left or right.
        
        Managing Apps > You can keep those launchers. add your own, remove some, and change their locations.
        
        Place widgets on the home screen > 1) switch to a Home screen page that has enough room for the new widget.

        Move widgets between different home screen > you can either move it to the left or right side of the screen.
        
        Change folder name > folders are managed just like other items on the home screen. To change a folder's name, open the folder and then tap the current name. Use the onscreen keyboard to type a new name.
        
        Delete folders by removing apps > To remove a launcher from a folder, open the folder and drag out the icon.

        4) You can drag an app to the right side of the screen to move the app to the next page
        
        5) when the app is where you want it, let go of the screen and click the home button to save the arrangement
