Metaphors
The maid placed the slippers of the graduate on his graduation photograph which depicts that even if he is well educated he is jobless and struggling to make a living.
Montage of Pushpak owner's success story motivates the graduate and makes him understand the importance of handwork and process.
The graduate keeps on competing with a roadside bigger and later on questions himself after witnessing the beggar's misfortune.

Evening
The movie has a lot of contrasts and since evening is ending of the day and starting of the night, it reflects contrast.
There is a Contrast between the graduate and the beggar.
The beggar was happy in whatever he had whereas the graduate used to showoff his meagre wealth to him and was envious on dicovering that the beggar had accumulated more money than him.
There is a contrast between the lead characters as well.The magician’s daughter was actually affluent but the graduate disguised himself as a rich man but their love depicts neutrality which represents evening to me.
Symbolism

When the graduate arrives first as Pushpak hotel disguised as a rich man, he stands in front of the logo in such a way that it gives wings to him which depicts his freedom and the start of desired life.
