EFFECTS
The writer wants us to appreciate the world where we lived, by transmiting David's awe with it and everything it has to offer.
"freedom was precious, and he had nothing to defend it with"
This makes me realice I should appreciate the freedom I have, because I take it for granted and it is so easy to loose it, besides I can't forget about people who don't have this right. Because that's what freedom is, a right, and everyone should have it.
PERSONAL RESPONSE
I really enjoyed reading this book because there was a clear evolution on David, as the story moved on we got to meet him better, we got to know the real him and I also think he was discovering who he was himslef.
