Arts Connecting To Everyone
Do the arts have a role in connecting people?
Art brings people together physically as well, such at galleries, museums and performance spaces
Culturally, art has the capacity to tell a community's shared story, to inspire reflection, and form connections that transcend differences.
It binds people with Culture that generates social capital and strengthens a community's character.
In my point of view art brings people together because of the same emotions passing through the viewers mind, making them compromise with each other, regardless of religion, political opinions, race, and wealthiness.
What connects me to visual arts?
As I grew older, I started to love art, interpret it, and reflect myself how different types of art made me feel. Therefore today, I am also doing my community project based on it.
Besides all of that, I think that what connects me to arts, is the emotion that when you see an artwork lots of feelings and ideas and perspectives come to my mind, and with that, I am able to talk and create conversations based on it, which I really enjoy.
The first reason, I think it was because of my parents, since a young age, I had always grown up seeing, modern art, Brazilian popular art, as well as always going to visit museums. therefore art has always impacted me in a certain form.
How does art connect to people?
When art connects to people, and it makes an effect people may often be overthrown with various emotions, making them "fall in love" with the art piece
Every one is connect to a form of art, being paintings, sculptures, performances, or even music and theatre, therefore helping people understand a greater meaning of life.
Arts connects to people, because it helps every single individual, to have a sort of realization, on their emotions and thoughts.
Which artworks do you choose for different circumstances or moods?
In this work from Jackson Pollok, different point of views, moods, and feelings can come to mind such as:
Conffusion
Exitement
Desperation
Joy
Pain
Wild
In my opinion I think that any art work can be fine, for whatever mood you are feeling, it only depends on how the person interprets the art work.
