Climate Change
Solutions
The government can do things to reduce climate change by raising the prices of gasoline and other fossil fuels
Reduce the number of trees that we are cutting down at once. And when you cut down a number of trees, you have to plant more than what you cut down.

-
Carpool
If we start carpooling more often, then there will be less emissions that are going into the atmosphere. Instead of 3 cars emitting toxins, it will be one.
Causes
-
Livestock Farming
The livestocks waste that they produce has large amounts of methane. These large amounts of methane go into that atmosphere and that goes into the increase of climate change.
Deforestation
Trees absorb carbon dioxide and when there aren't enough trees to absorb the carbon, so then it has no where to go and stays in the air.
Fertilizers
Some fertilizers produce nitrous oxide emissions and that goes into the atmosphere
Environmental Impacts
Biodiversity
The increase of climate change causes the land biodiversity to decrease a lot especially in the polar regions. The increase of sea levels messes up ecosystems and that causes them to lose their biodiversity.
World temperatures
Climate change has increased the heat, caused drought and this has caused an increase of droughts
Worlds water systems
Climate change affects weather patterns and that causes unpredictable water availibility. This can cause water to get contaminated and be undrinkable.
-
Economic Impacts
Fisherys
Climate change affects the production of fishing. Those people fishing put money into the economy so when they aren't able to catch enough fish, that affects our economy
Infrastructure
A lot of the worlds buildings are prone to flooding but when these building flood, it affects the economy and the money that the government and the country have.

Evidence
Ocean Temperature rising
The ocean temperature is slowly increasing. The ocean has absorbed a lot of the heat that the earth is giving off.
Shrinking ice sheets
Looking at NASAs climate experiment shows that Greenland lost over 279 billion tons of ice. They have been losing this much ice each year between the years of 1993 and 2019
Carbon dioxide levels
Scientists have studied the carbon dioxide levels for many years. From 1950 til now, the carbon dioxide levels have increased durastically.
Sea levels
Scientists have looked at sea levels and it has rose 8 inches in the last century. The rate in the last century has doubled and is said to continue to rise.
