Mechanism of action
has activity in presence of some beta-lactams
both penicillinases and cephalosporinases, of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria
bacterial agent act by inhibition of bacterial cell wall production
Contraindication
liver problem
decreased in blood clotting protein prothrombin
decreased kidney function
increased risk of bleeding
storage conditions
is stable for 10days over 90%
after that start to degradation /percentage dissolution over 60%
must be stored in refrigerator(2-8degrees C)
route of administration
directly to the vien or via drip over 30-60min
over period of 3 to 5minutes
administered intravenous
