The teacher will...
Attend professional development training and create a plan for incorporating the training into the classroom.
Select a curriculum objective and outline methods/procedures, student activities, and evaluation strategies that are in alignment with the objective.
Schedule a time to observe another teacher's classroom and summarize how you will incorporate what you observed into your classroom.
Invite a peer to visit your classroom and give you feedback.
Reflect on the lesson you just taught and determine the effectiveness.
Develop a classroom management process in which students take responsibility for the management of materials.
Survey students' interests and strengths and group them for instruction. Discuss the students' needs with a resource teacher.
These activities will help for changes in teacher behavior linked to students outcomes.
Activities for non instructional personnel.
Comply with district or campus policies, operating procedures, and requirements.
Follow district grievance policies for complaints regarding conditions of employment.
Meet all deadlines for submiting reports, inspections, assessment results, surveys, etc.
Document student progress/grades, curriculum or attendance records, reports, etc in conformity to campus district policy.
Design, communicate and implement a plan for communication, instructional technology, bilingual education, reporting student performance, and disaggregating.
