Deficiencies of Russian Army
Poorly led, officers poorly trained and focused on autocratic
Poor tactics, generals did not work together and relied on old fashioned charges against modern weapons
Ill-equipped, soldiers had to share rifles and not everyone has boots and food
Despite early successes, Russia's disorganized armies were destroyed by smaller German armies
Desertions became more common and morale declined

Russian currency devaluing and inflation lead to wages being worth way less
