        Further complicated by incidental c-spine fracture found on MRI which required immobilisation in an Aspen collar. During this period, pt nil by mouth, uncomfortable, increased pain and nauseous ++ lying flat.
        
        Hope for return home soon.
        
        Recent nil-by mouth period required insulin to be adjusted for T2DM. During the palliative care phase, tight control is not as important, but care still needs to be taken to prevent hypos or DKAs.
