Business
Public sector
A public company is the part of the economy that is under government control. Organizations and public shops for example. Public goods and governmental services
Examples
Police, military, public roads, public transit and public education
Advantages

As a public sector organisation, it faces little competition
Disadvantages

As there's no profit motive, there's often a lack of innovation
Private sector
A private company is a business entity that is held by private owners. They are responsible of their wins and losses. Usually made for self profit and is not state controlled
Examples
Any financial services, newspapers agencies, aviations, and hospitality places.

Advantages
They can raise money, so they ususally attend the costumer service

Sole Traders
This is a one man business’ in which an individual produces independently with his own capital and assumes all the risk of ownership.

Owners have full responsiblity, if it fails, its on him.

Partnerships
Where two or more individuals, come together for undertaking a business and have agreed to share the profits and losses
Advantages

Easy to start, and very low cost at first.

Non-Profit Organizations
A legal entity organized and operated for a collective, public or social benefit. A nonprofit is subject to the non-distribution constraint: any revenues that exceed expenses must be committed to the organization's purpose, not taken by private parties.
Charities
An Organization that its main goal is to bring help to an specific minority, or groups that can't support themselves

Independent of government involvement are known as non-governmental organizations or non-government organizations. These are a subgroup of organizations founded by citizens, which include clubs and associations that provide services to their members and others.
