Good eyesight, healthy linings of nose, mouth and throat, growth and healthy eyes, skin and hair.

good general health, healthy gums, skin and blood vessels, healing of wounds and helps absorption of iron in the body

rickets, tooth decay, osteoporosis and osteomalacia ( audult form of rickets)
B Group
Delayed growth, tiredness, beriberi (a serious nerve disease) and pellagra (a disease that effects the skin, causes diarrhoea and dementia, and often results in death.

night blindness, linings of mouth, nose and throat become dry and irritated, delayed growth and dry, patchy skin
C
increased risks of cold and flu, scurvy, delayed healing of wounds and anaemia.

As fat-soluble vitamins are stored in the fatty tissue of the body, supplies can build up to toxic levels. This is called hypervitaminosis and normally occurs when people overuse vitamin supplements. Hypervitaminosis A and D are most common.
