Forces
Pulls
When you pull something it can stop it, as there is movement either side, creating friction
It can start off movement, like pulling forwards a toy car to start it going forward
You can slow it down, for example, if you pull on a dog's lead, it slows down
Pulling an object can make it go backwards, depending on which side you are on.
Pushing is the polar opposite of pulling, causing friction when done at the same time.
Pushes
-
If it is a certain object, the shape of it can change
-
-
Pushing a object can speed it up, or start the movement
Newton's Laws of Motion
If an object does not get pushed/pulled, it will continue on it path it was originally going on.
-
-
There are three main ways of motion and that is to push, pull or twist an object.
Twists
When something gets twisted, it can always be untwisted or reversed.
Sometimes you can twist things either way, depending on the object.
Things like doorknobs can be used to open somewhere or something, to hide things in.
Pressure
-
The larger of the surface of the pressure, the less easier it will be to put good amount of pressure on it.
A knife with a sharper point but a smaller point area will do less to a surface than a dull knife with a larger area point will
