Persuasian
9) Primacy effect: Explains that information that comes early had greater persuasive power than information that comes later
The most prominent thing a job interviewer might remember about a possible employee could be what they were wearing, since it was the first thing they saw.
10) Recency effect: Explains that information that comes later (more recently) than information that comes earlier had greater persuasive power
11) Peripheral route: Relies on emotion or other superficial factors, which can be effective if the audience is not especially motivated to think about the topic or to make good decisions
