3D Printer
This part of the classroom will have a 3D printer and computers to help the students create their designs.
Standard/Content Area: Presentation of Knowledge and Ideas
SL.1.4 Produce complete sentences to describe people, places, things, and events with relevant details, expressing ideas and feelings clearly.
SL.1.5 Add drawings or other visual displays to descriptions when appropriate to clarify ideas, thoughts, and feelings.
Design Philosophy
The Design Philosophy for this classroom is for students to learn by creating. Students have the option to work with others or themselves to create things this will teach them about teamwork..
Lego Station
This area will have a variety of Legos and a table to build them on so students can create whatever they want.
Circuit Kits
There will be multiple circuit kits for students to design different things with them.
Digital Storytelling
There will be iPads, microphones, and headphones for students to use to create their own story on the device using different software and apps. Besides making a story they could record lyrics or a poem.
Random Bins
These bins will have random material that can be used to create anything. These things might be leftovers of something or something that could be reused
