Healthcare

Question-To what extent should the government be involved with healthcare and why should Americans favor a privatized healthcare system over a socialized one?

Thesis-Though many progressives may argue that healthcare should be a right and free, Americans should favor a privatized system with less government involvement because it will yield better quality of care, more biomedical research, and an increase of innovation that will benefit everyone around the world since pharmaceutical companies have competition and want to make a profit.

Benefits

More research and benefits around the world- America publishes about 40 percent of all medical research

Quality of care- existing socialized medicine such as in Canada has a high percentage of citizens on waitlists.
