FUTURE GOING TO, MEMBERS, IS, ARE, By Delgado Aaron - Coggle Diagram
FUTURE GOING TO
affirmative
In affirmative sentences, we place the construction going to between the verb to be and the main verb in infinitive
-
-
-
USE
The simple future with English going to is used to express: a future action scheduled or planned previously
a logical conclusion about the future.
-
-
-
-
-
interrogative
In interrogative sentences, the verb to be will be placed first, followed by the subject, then the going to structure and finally the main verb in infinitive. Short answers are constructed just like the arrangement of the verb to be: first the adverb, positive or negative, followed by the subject and finally the verb to be.

-
Negative:
In negative sentences, the construction going to is placed between the verb to be (with the particle not) and the main verb in the infinitive
USO-USE
To construct the "going to" in the negative, the particle -not must be inserted between the "to be" in the present tense and the "going to". As in the positive, the "to be" also adapts to the person and the "going to" and the infinitive are always the same. Subject + to be present + not + going to + Infinitive + Complement.

-
In some situations, we may use "about to" instead of "going to" to refer to situations that will happen imminently or immediately. Both verbs have the same form and structure
