It serves to describe the questions that will happen in the not too distant future.
EXAMPLES:
Are you going to work tonigt?
Are we going to run in the parck?
Is she going to play station?
NEGATIVO
in negative you have to put the not between the present as well as in the positive also, it adapts to the person and the infinitive are always the same
I'm not going to start the university
They are not going to play soccer
my cousin can't speak French or Mandarin
POSITIVE
Serves to describe an action that will happen in the not too distant future in positive form
EXAMPLES
HE IS GOING TO RUN IN THE PARK
THEY ARE GOING TO PLAY SOCCER
I AM GOING TO SWIM IN THE POOL
