COORDINATION

What is it? Humans and animals, have to coordinate lots of different processes (eating, breathing...). They also have to react to what goes around them.

Nervous system

What is for? To react very quickly

Parts: nerves and central nervous system

Consits in: Central nervous system and peripheral nervous system (sensory nerves and motor nerves

Combination with: receptors and effectors

What is for? Redulates the activity of cells or organs. Hormones regulates body's growth.

Endocrine system

Parts: hypothalamus, pineal body, tyroid and paranoid, thymus, adrenal gland, pancreas and ovary.

What do they do? They are caused when neurons in the brain become damaged or die

Homeostasis

Examples. Alzheimer, parkinson and multiple sclerosis

What are they? Are medical conditions that affect a person's thinking, feelings, moods...

Examples. Depression, schizophrenia and hyperactivity

Means maintaning a constant internal environment. Keeps the body temperature close to 37°C and regulates blood sugar, water...
